Progress on Ravelry's Library

I have been knitting, but most of my time has been taken up with putting books and magazines away. I have also been entering my library on Ravelry. It has taken quite a bit of time, as I have a lot of magazines. Not all the magazines are in the library, because they are not listed in the library yet.

I'm guessing that many of you have read about Hannah. We felt the effects on Saturday. There was a lot of rain which caused flooding in the creek down the hill from our home. No worries of flooding our house, but we did have a leak around one door which we found out about during the storm. ES had to go to DC Saturday for a fire test so missed most of the rain here. He did have to take some detours to get home. Quite a few roads were flooded.

My pile of empty boxes is getting taller. It seems like I will never get rid of all the boxes though, I am seeing progress which helps with the feeling settled now.

Next time some pictures. Happy knitting & spinning.

Oh my gosh girl that is alot of magazines :P. I think my children will think the same thing when they come to pick me up in November, but I'm not gonna get rid of any of them ;P. We always seem to feel comforted when we have a lot of knitting and spinning books dont we. :) Hey go check out the new LDS womens magazine at www.ldswa.com and if you like it, send a msg to my friend Julie who is the editor :). She is needing some feed back :).

Hi, Laura
Good to hear from you. I had a long message posted but needed a new password and now that I have gotten it, my original message is gone. Drat!! I don't have the energy to write it again.

I would love your address as I have something to sned to you that I first had to enter in the fair. I got a third place. Can you email it to me or Becky? Everyone asks about you.

glad the plants are ok. And now you are enjoying the east coast hurricanes, which I do not miss. Not many fires here this summer which is good, though makes for a bad business year for AvCenter.

Anyway, glad you are getting settled in and now that it is cooler I will be reading more posts - I am 39 behind.

Ummm, WOW that's a lot of rain. I'm so glad we aren't dealing with that!

Amy is in Florida and she said that they had fire ants take up residence in their apartment to get away from the rains there. Ugh!
